Coronavirus statistical update: rising cases take  Hastings and Rother closer to Tier 3

Coronavirus cases in Hastings and Rother have risen sharply in the last fortnight, prompting East Sussex director of Public Health Darrell Gale to issue a new warning and strengthening the likelihood of these areas being placed in Tier 3 when the current allocations are reviewed this week. Bathing Pool site campaign goes to Full Council

Does West St Leonards deserve better than Hastings Borough Council (HBC) is offering? Local residents and others certainly think so. The pandemic prevented a gathering, so there was a visual protest recently, in advance of the presentation of a petition to the Full Council on Wednesday 16th. Refugee support actions on the Stade and Rock-a-Nore beach

Britain’s treatment of refugees has been to the fore in the town this week, with a demonstration against deportation flights on Thursday and the Lighthouse Project, a show of solidarity with refugees crossing the Channel, due to be held on Rock-a-Nore beach on Saturday evening.
