The local NHS has submitted a detailed planning application to Rother District Council to build a new 54-bed mental health hospital on a site in Mount View Street, Bexhill-on-Sea, to replace outdated services at the Department of Psychiatry in Eastbourne.

On Saturday 26 March, local charity, Mind in Brighton and Hove, are hosting a Men’s Wellbeing Festival at the Stade along Hastings seafront. A new study is underway to help improve sleeping patterns for people living with dementia and their relatives. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is behind the new psychological intervention.
