Hastings bar reopens after Covid closure

One of the three Hastings bars forced to shut after a customer contracted Covid-19 reopened this week. With new cases being regularly confirmed in the town, the council has urged citizens to follow official guidance. Nick Terdre reports, photos by Russell Jacobs.

Collision with parked cars leaves man seriously injured

HOT photographer Russell Jacobs happened by the pier last night in time to catch the aftermath of a bad traffic accident in which a man was seriously injured. According to the police, the occupants of the damaged car are believed to have been in an argument with the occupants of another car before the incident.
