St Leonards Festival head-piece at Hastings Arts Forum

Local stained glass artist Alan Wright has recently installed this beautiful Marine Court head-piece in the window of Hastings Arts Forum on Marina in St Leonards. The carnival mask/head-piece was made for St Leonards Festival carnival parade in 2007 – for the first carnival parade which was in the second year of St Leonards Festival. Hastings International Piano announces a bold start for 2021

The organisers of the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition have taken the bold step of investing yet more money in this event to make it even more attractive to contestants and public alike. Given the vagaries of Covid 19, it could be just what the town of Hastings needs to revive live music in our town after lockdown, writes Chris Cormack.
