More walk-in vaccination clinics in Hastings this week

Sussex Health and Care Partnership has arranged a busy programme of walk-in vaccination clinics across the two counties for the remainder of July, including clinics in Hastings all this week. Nick Terdre reports.

Pop-up vaccination and testing sessions in Hastings this week

Walk-in vaccination clinics will be held in Hastings town centre this week and a mobile testing unit is also operating in West St Leonards until Sunday as the health authorities deploy additional resources to combat the rising tide of infections. Report by Nick Terdre, photos by Russell Jacobs.

Hastings gets more pop-up clinics as jab rate falters

Further pop-up clinics have been arranged in Hastings to provide opportunities for more residents to get a first vaccine jab. The vaccination rate has fallen sharply this month and the town still has a long way to go before enough of the population has had two jabs to achieve herd immunity.
