After their highly acclaimed debut playing Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s just a few months ago, The Fabulous Red Diesel are returning just before Christmas and there are still tickets remaining if you’d like to travel with them on their hired coach up to central London. HOT’s Zelly Restorick heard from lead singer-songwriter, Kat Lee Ryan (aka ‘Miss Kitty’) about the band’s latest adventures.
In Hastings Old Town, a dedicated free improvisation music evening has been running since July at The Nest, the former town hall in the High Street. Nick Weekes was keen to review it for HOT.
The career of the brilliant jazz trumpeter Henry Lowther ranges from the 60s, including an appearance at the legendary Woodstock Festival, to the present day. Now on his 80th Birthday Tour, he will be appearing with his band Still Waters at the next Jazz Hastings session.
