Centre stage at Jazz Hastings’ session on Tuesday 8 November will be American saxophonist, flautist and composer Greg Abate, one of the hardest working musicians on the international jazz circuit, reports Julian Norridge.
The career of the brilliant jazz trumpeter Henry Lowther ranges from the 60s, including an appearance at the legendary Woodstock Festival, to the present day. Now on his 80th Birthday Tour, he will be appearing with his band Still Waters at the next Jazz Hastings session.
