Break your lockdown blues with a FREE course at Southwater Community Centre
Hastings Access to Venues and Events (HAVE) are running four weeks of free classes starting on Tues 18 May, at the new HAVE Hub in Southwater Community Centre, Stainsby Street, St Leonards-on-Sea.
HAVE co-founder Penny Pepper says: “We welcome everyone who has found lockdown particularly difficult in terms of mental and emotional health. All classes are small and fully COVID safe and are fully inclusive and accessible. Please share on your networks, with your friends, your families, pets and garden fairy. Get in touch if you need more details. And book up soon!”

SOUND OUT YOUR STRESS
Explore sounds, songs and sharing of music in a gentle atmosphere, with the great Yair Katz, an experienced music therapist.

LETTER IT LOUD!
Graphic lettering – play with letterforms and shout out your message – with Erica Smith, glorious local designer.

From Thursday 20 May, four classes
11am–12pm
Dance out your blues
– with the fabulous Leila Newman from Dance Hastings.
Fun Brazilian and Latino music for seated exercise.
Class of six only so book early!
From Friday 21 May, four classes
2–4pm
MAKE DO AND MEND
Sewing skills with local sewing shero Vanessa Newman. Hand mending and decorative basic clothes repairs. You can work on your sewing machine skills – if you bring your own.
