Hastings International Piano continues its series of short online concerts this Friday with a recital by Fumiya Koido, winner of the 2019 piano concerto competition. Nick Terdre reports.
In the days of the coronavirus, we cannot attend live music performances, but we can turn to the web. Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition has launched a series of short online concerts to help fill the gap. Competition prizewinner Maxim Kinasov will be performing Franck-Bauer and Rachmaninov tomorrow, Friday, evening at 7pm. Nick Terdre reports.

Husband and wife folk duo Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will be playing at St Mary in the Castle on Wednesday 18 March as part of a UK tour celebrating 25 years of making music together. Venue manager Sean Berkeley reports.

White Rock Theatre, Saturday 29 February 2020: Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition has gone biennial – it will next take place in 2021 – and the intervening years will host the Hastings International Piano Festival, the latest addition to the town’s cultural offer.
